Hero MotoCorp, under its electric sub-brand Vida, has launched the Vida V1 Pro and Vida V1 Plus electric scooters in India. The Vida V1 which is Hero MotoCorp's first electric scooter will go against the

The Vida V1 Pro is priced at INR 1.59 lakh (ex-showroom) whereas the Vida V1 Plus comes at a price of INR 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom).The V1 Pro gets a 3.94kWh battery pack while the V1 Plus gets a smaller 3.44kWh unit. The IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) range of the V1 Pro and V1 Plus are 165km and 143km respectively. The V1 Pro can do 0-40 kmph in under 3.2 seconds while the V1 Plus can hit 0-40 kmph in 3.4 seconds. Both variants have fast charging, getting to 1.2 km per minute and a top speed of 80 kmph. Talking about the battery pack, the Vida 1 gets a removable battery which is tested for multiple tests like drop, crush, nail penetration and more.As for the features, the Vida V1 electric scooters come loaded with a 7-inch touchscreen instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, cruise control, keyless control, two-way throttle, S.O.S alert, a large 26-litres underseat storage, and more. It also gets three ride modes- Eco, Ride and Sports and an extra custom mode for the rider’s convenience. The Vida V1 also gets a Limp Home mode.The Hero Vida V1 would be first launched in New Delhi, Jaipur and Bangalore. Deliveries of the Vida V1 will commence in India from the second week of December.
